Ukrainian LLMs are developing rapidly. We recently reported about the launch of the Lapathoniia platform, and now a new product is here — Lapathoniia Chat.
Just recently, we reported on the start of beta testing for Lapathoniia, an infrastructure platform for hosting and integrating Ukrainian-developed large language models. On 22 May, the developers announced that Lapathoniia Chat, Ukraine’s first AI chat assistant powered by Ukrainian LLMs, had been launched on the platform. The service running on De Novo’s cloud infrastructure with high-performance NVIDIA GPUs, entirely within Ukrainе and under Ukrainian jurisdiction. Data never leaves local data centres.

According to Lapathoniia: “The aim of this demonstration service is to showcase the potential of Ukrainian LLMs in a format that has already become familiar to everyone: a dialogue with an AI assistant. We want Ukrainian LLMs to be perceived not as abstract research, but as a technology that people can interact with, integrate, and build upon.”
Lapathoniia Chat can currently be tested across a range of practical scenarios: chat, web search, conversation history, file handling and advanced research capabilities. Anyone interested is invited to test the service. To apply, simply submit a request outlining your use case to the developers at [email protected].
