Private Kubernetes Platform as a Service | HCI
HCI (Hosted Container Infrastructure) is a Kubernetes cluster orchestration platform based on VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid intended for DevOps and PaaS developers.
HCI provides functionality and usability across AWS Elastic Kubernetes Services, Google Kubernetes Engine, and MS Azure Kubernetes Services.
HCI is deployed on private cloud resources and has a deep and native integration with IaaS, which allows you to consume its resources efficiently (without unnecessary software layers) by standard means (CSI, CNI, K8s Operators) without the need to know the details of its construction.
The platform includes monitoring, updates and 24/7 production grade support.

HCI (Hosted Container Infrastructure) is a Kubernetes cluster orchestration platform based on VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Grid intended for DevOps and PaaS developers.
HCI provides functionality and usability across AWS Elastic Kubernetes Services, Google Kubernetes Engine, and MS Azure Kubernetes Services.
With HCI you will be able to
- Create isolated environments (tenants), set resource consumption limits for them and provide access to them to separate DevOps and development teams.
- Use patterns of unmodified Kubernetes and other open-source components that are prepared, verified, signed and supported (including updated) by VMware to deploy Kubernetes clusters and related services.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters (create, configure, scale, upgrade, delete), virtual machines, networks, ingress/egress and other infrastructure objects declaratively via TanzuCLI and/or using Kubernetes Cluster API + kubectl + YAML.
- Use persistent volumes (including read/write many) without the need to deploy additional components such as Ceph and NFS.
- Use Harbor, Contour, MinIO, Velero, Prometeus, Graphana, FluentBit, Carvel, Sonobouy services integrated into the platform. Cert-Manager, External DNS (the list is constantly expanding).
- Use the functionality of horizontal autoscaling of Kubernetes clusters (autoscaling) built into the platform.
- Significantly reduce the unproductive load on DevOps due to the maximum automation of the life cycle management processes of Kubernetes clusters and the platform as a whole.
- Get access to commercial technical support of the entire technology stack at the level of "production grade support".
