Comprehensive information protection system (CIPS, Ukrainian: KSZI) is a set of organizational, technical, and software measures aimed at ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in information and telecommunication systems. A Comprehensive Information Security System is developed in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine in the field of technical and cryptographic data protection and is subject to mandatory evaluation by authorized state bodies. Within the CISS framework, a threat model is established, access levels are defined, security controls are implemented, and system operation procedures are regulated.
CISS includes access control systems, cryptographic data protection, security event auditing, network infrastructure protection, and physical security measures. Its implementation involves documenting the security architecture, conducting testing, and obtaining a certificate of compliance confirming adherence to regulatory requirements. System operation is supported by continuous monitoring, regular updates of security controls, and enforcement of established security policies.
