Personal data protection specialist
We are looking for an experienced and responsible legal / compliance / standardization specialist who will support the structuring of regulatory documentation and ensure the Company’s compliance with applicable requirements.
The Company operates as a cloud service provider and data center services provider, and this role focuses on compliance in the areas of information security within information and communication systems (ICS) and critical infrastructure operations.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation of Ukraine, the EU, and the USA (Ukrainian laws, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, ND TZI requirements, EU regulations, and NIST SP 800-53 standards).
• Monitoring changes in Ukrainian and EU legislation and providing explanations and advisory support to internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring that the Company’s activities and documentation comply with regulatory requirements (obtaining permits, inclusion in official registers/lists, preparation and submission of regulatory reports).
• Supporting the authorization process of information and communication systems (ICS).
• Coordinating cooperation with Company departments regarding regulatory compliance matters.
• Contractual work, including drafting, reviewing, and approving contracts and addenda.
• Interaction with regulatory and supervisory authorities (official communication, responses to inquiries, participation in inspections and audits).
Key Requirements:
• Higher education.
• Relevant professional experience in compliance, regulatory, or legal roles.
• Knowledge of regulatory documentation governing the operation of critical infrastructure facilities.
• Ability to apply legal and regulatory requirements in practice (interaction with sectoral and functional authorities, regulatory reporting, development of internal policies and procedures, support during inspections).
• Knowledge of baseline, target, and sector-specific security profiles for confidential information and information for official use.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Practical experience in drafting legal and regulatory documents.
Additional Advantage:
• Experience in regulatory compliance related to cooperation between banking institutions and cloud/data center service providers.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations in this area (Ukrainian legislation, National Bank of Ukraine regulations, EU regulations, including DORA, etc.).
