We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for comprehensive legal support of an international technology business.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and approving various types of agreements, including agreements with non-resident entities.
• Preparing legal opinions, consultations, analytical materials, and clarifications on legal matters.
• Providing legal support to the company’s business units and participating in the review and approval of non-standard business decisions.
• Reviewing requests and preparing responses to government authorities, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement agencies.
• Representing the company’s interests in courts and before law enforcement agencies and regulatory authorities.
• Participating in negotiations with counterparties, including international partners.
• Conducting preliminary legal analysis of matters involving foreign jurisdictions and coordinating advice from local legal counsel.
• Cooperating with foreign legal advisers and consultants.
• Independently managing individual legal projects.
• Performing other tasks within the scope of the Legal Department’s responsibilities.

Mandatory Requirements

• University degree in Law.
• At least five years of professional experience as a lawyer or legal counsel.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in commercial, contract, and tax law.
• Practical experience conducting negotiations in English with international counterparties.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Will Be an Advantage

• Experience working in the IT industry or for a technology company.
• Experience providing legal support on tax matters and assessing tax-related risks.
• A valid licence to practise law in Ukraine.
• Experience working with foreign jurisdictions and international legal advisers.
